iPhone 4G Verizon

If you own an iPhone 3G or 3GS at the moment, then there is a large chance that you have the phone unlocked and are currently using it with the US based phone company Verizon. With rumours that the iPhone 4G is soon to be released from Apple, it has left people wondering whether they will need the mobile network Verizon in order to push the release of the iPhone 4G and whether they will need Verizon’s fantastic mobile network in order to be able to offer their customers everything that they wish to offer them. At the moment, with the iPhone 3G and 3GS, it is the US phone company AT&T who have exclusive rights to Apples iPhone devices. However, with the recent release of Google’s Android Smartphone’s, Apple has actually lost a small percentage of its market share of Smartphone’s as Google’s Android devices are slowly creeping up with Apple. Recently research has revealed that at the moment, Apple have a 50% market share of all Smartphone’s globally whilst Google’s Android phones are catching up with a 24% market share. Google have been creating a lot of these Android phones just recently and Apple knows as well as us, that if this keeps being the case, then Google will take an even larger market share of the Smartphone market. It is for this reason that Apple is rumoured to be making a deal with Verizon for their latest device the iPhone 4G. It is said that Apple is hoping to take a firm grip of the entire market and will try to eliminate Google’s current high market share of the Smartphone market. Whether or not these rumours are true, we will just have to wait and see, although it would certainly benefit Apple and the consumer if this turned out to be true. | |
