iPhone 4G AT&T

In the US, Apple has currently given exclusivity of its current iPhone devices; 3G and 3GS, to the US phone company AT&T. This summer Apple is rumoured to be releasing a whole new iPhone device; the iPhone 4G. This had led to a large speculation as to whether or not Apple will continue to use AT&T as their exclusive retailers of their new iPhone 4G device. If it seems that they are not going to, then that leaves the question; which phone company will get the exclusive rights?

There are many rumours on the internet regarding this matter and one of the most interesting and most likely to be true is that AT&T have actually banned their employees from taking holidays in the month of June this year. This rumour is said to have come from employees of the mobile phone company and they have said that AT&T hasn’t actually informed them as to why they are not allowed to take holidays in this month. Of course, this has led to the belief that this means the iPhone 4G is set to be released in June and that Apple will, once again, use the AT&T network as their exclusive retailers of the iPhone 4G device.

However, not all people think this. There are also rumours that Apple plans to ditch AT&T for this new device and give exclusivity of the network to a different network. The main contenders for this are either Verizon or Sprint in the US.

Of course, Apple hasn’t commented on the matter and neither has AT&T or any of the other mobile phone networks in the US. It seems that Apple is once again trying to keep the details of their latest development as secretive as possible until they choose to inform us. It will be interesting to see who they actually choose for their next release.
